Every minute is an adventure...
I can't believe how much there is to do here, or I can't believe how little there's to do at home...
Let me tell you about yesterday, which was very busy. When we arrived, I asked Roger what animals they had here in Texas, so yesterday he decided to show me. We went to a huge building to see animals. Dead animals, stuffed up. All kinds of animals, and hunters clothing, they had everyting for hunters. Very texas style. Then, the most shocking part was when we went to the GUN LIBRARY. You could basically just go in there and buy a gun. Just like that. And they were not cheap, I can tell you that much. A man who worked there wanted me and Lisa to hold a shotgun worth 65.000 DOLLARS. I felt quite uncomfortable.
When we had seen enough of weapons, Lisa and I went to Nordstroms and another mall, by ourselves. Which means that we drove in Texas. (Well I didn't, because I figured Roger would want his car back in one piece...) We were focusing too hard on the Loop 1 exit and a Target store, so ofcourse we got lost. We thought "what would Roger have done...", and then we found our way back to the Cherry creek area. We saw a movie called Choke. I don't recomend it at all.
This morning, Rita woke us up and it was time to go to church. And we got there, alright.... Jesus Christ Almighty. When we got out from church, Lisa and I looked at eachother, said "Well, no comments. Let's just NOT talk about this" and we haven't said a word about this very special morning yet...
Later, we went downtown to a place called jo's, listened to some live jazz and cowboy music. We saw a western movie called Appaloosa, it took place in new mexico, not very far from here. Rita showed me pictures of her uncel who was a cowboy. It's so interesting!
We are really enjoying our stay in the live music capital of the world! Have a good nigth, and remember, love is a gift from up above!
