Well, maps are just not made for us!
This is what we are going through every morning at Barton Hills: the kids are gathering in the classroom or cafeteria, when it's quiet, every kid put their right hand onto their heart, and they all read the American and Texas pledge together. The kids had PE today, and Lisa and I were so surprised of the fact that they didn't change clothes, they didn't take a shower, the school didn't even seem to have a locker room. Everything is so different from home, the kids can't believe that we don't get grades until 8th grade in Sweden.
Lisa and I are developing some kind of habit here. We are lost all the time, even when we think that we know where we are. It's fun though. We always laugh for hours in the car on our way home from school. (Partly because we're exhausted..) Yesterday we were going to Barton Creek mall, and I had the great honour to print a map. Mission completed and I was very proud of myself, we had a great detailed map to the mall! Except that I forgot to write Barton Creek mall. So we ended somewhere else, far far far away. We tried to use the map to get back home, but maps just don't work for us - no no. We always find our way home anyway. We get lost everyday, but we think of it like sightseeing.
We went to Whole foods downtown on 6th street to have dinner this evening, whole foods has got the best guacamole ever. We listened to live music, and went to an enormous book shop.
Lisa is craving for some frappuccino in Washington DC!
...and so am I
We met these gentlemen
We went to a cinema in Austin to see this western movie
... And this is why americans are gaining weight. Rita's supersize popcorn with extra butter (notice the FREE REFILL)
Olof, thank you so much Mr Berggren for you comments, and in case you haven't noticed, your sister Lisa and I are writing in english because it's a part of the school course!
Now I'm watching a debate between Obama and McCain, everyone here is voting for Mr Obama.
Hope everything is wonderful in Sweden (the northwest part of Texas...)

Hello over there! You seem to have a nice time. Here at Malta we are also lost all the time! The roads names don't fit with the map. Quite strange! But we also get home in one way or another. Say hello to Lisa from us! Hugs from Emma and Cathrine.
